Students increasingly accessing restricted material online

Thousands of high school students are actively bypassing internet security systems in schools, allowing them to anonymously access pornography and inappropriate material on their devices. Almost all New Zealand schools currently have policies in place for providing a safe digital learning environment, but new research shows a third of students are downloading what is called a Virtual Private Network to get around firewalls.
