New Zealand educators to vote on pushing strike to full day to send ‘strongest possible message’

The teachers union NZEI Te Riu Roa members said earlier this month they would stop work from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on August 15, after the Government refused their pay demands. This week they will vote on whether to extend it to a full day.
